Having the Passport running again would be wonderful, but that's something SEGA must do with their own site, not an individual as yourself. So you should just return it to them ASAP.

You could tell them fans would like to see the Passport running again. ;) Apparently it's not so hard to do, if an individual person can bring some of it back.

Somehow I doubt that. Still, you don't even have all the files to make the Passport complete, so don't waste your time. It's SEGA's site, so just give it back to them. That's all there is left to say.

Finally I want to say sorry again to all (like I said sorry in the Shenmue BBS), but now I promise to don't do something stupid again. And sorry for my bad english (still learning) and my poor Japanese (still learning too). If anyone reach to a SEGA person, tell to him to contact me at [email protected] and I'll transfer the domain as the people of this forum told me. Sorry again. But don't loose the hope in Shenmue...

Yeah. First it was of a company called MainStream and then I get it for SEGA, (that company had it when Shenmue.com appeared as a web seach site)

Wow, this was definitly the most interesting forum topic i ever read. LanDC, you're a genious. I feel so honored to be a member of the dojo now. Personally, I don't think Sakuragaoka should be in any legal trouble because everyone has a desire for power and Sakuragaoka got it but used his power with good intentions to give us all hope. For that, I say thank you Sakuragaoka. Unfortunatly though, Sakuragaoka has proved to be a very misleading person and I quote from Spider Man "With great power comes great responsibility". So I agree that it's fair if he just gives the site back to Sega and he's forgiven.

Sakuragaoka, you're great! Thank you so much. I could never use the passport back in the day. My dream always was to see it one time. You made it possible. Thank you.

I could even download the Shenmue goodie character file for Nozomi. Is there some way to still view those? The manual doesn't give very clear instructions. Could someone please tell me how it works/worked?

You should be the new webmaster of shenmue.com. Haha, maybe SEGA will cooperate. They have treated Shenmue and its fans like shit, the recent years so if they don't want to run the passport, we can do it ourselves.

You should get the Ranking feature running again. No one of you is gonna beat me at Hang On and QTE Title!
