Wude, I'm not sure if this will help you but I actually use a very powerful emulator for Dreamcast/Naomi and more systems called DEMUL and I can remeber there was a GDR plugin for it.

Geez. But the Demul has an option called GDRGHD or something like that.

Anyway, if it does not work you can wait for Kyodai and Shendream.

Yeah Bootmake was the name of the tool. You can just edit the sources you have on disc, i.e. adding the "80" directory from Whats Shenmue , editing files and so on. As it's a quite fast process you can play around a lot, like overwriting Ine-san's face file with Lan-Di and so on. Then just compile the CDI and fire up in NullDC.

I just downloaded this today and I really must say, its awesome! I am really enjoying messing around with it.

Good God man, I could kiss you right now! This is more awesome than anything else! So do we need the Keyboard plugged in to bring up the debug menu? Good thing I just bought a mouse and Keyboard when I got my SD Adapter for my Dreamcast!

So is there or is there not a bicycle in this version? I am guessing nay, as it is 99% identical to the retail release.

Anyway, this release is music to my ears!

Edit: Not sure if this was posted before, but the right trigger at the debug menue lets you select Space Harrier, Hang On and Staff Roll, which is credits I am guessing?

yes this beta lets you play the game normally here's how to do so:

the beta has 2 shenmue title screens (the first is for the debug menu the other is for normal gameplay) when the first shenmue title screen appears do not press start for a few moments (pressing start will bring up the Debug menu) after a few moments you'll notice that the shenmue title screen appears again (2nd time) except now you can press start and play the game like normal
