Did you know that the slot machines in Shenmue are based on the design of a real life Sega M3001?

It seems obvious, since the QTE Title is also based on a real machine but it still surprises me they went the extra mile to recreate a real Sega machine. Just look at the details, displays and everything. It's like exact.

From a lot of game experience, videos, and walkthorughs.

I think Yu failed at something, he did think that people were kinda stupid at following clues.

Apart from flavour text, it's amazing the ammount of stuff he did to keep "players on track", we all knew the drill: at night meant 7pm, gather info was pretty much talking to a couple of "major npcs", I can't remember the fisrt time I got into shenmue, I remember being stuck a couple of times (I didn't understand english), but WOW, the ammount of dialogue text here is fucking amazing.

I just freaking love this game. It's like Yu tought of everything.

Just something, I think most players didn't even got to 87, he saw the game as something to explore, while clues were everywhere, if you don't give much of a shit, it's easy to finish the game in 8 hours. Seems like he planned the average run to be longer (fangmei birthday ?)).

Have this absolutely blasting through my headphones right now and still think this is my favourite Shenmue Music track/cover. The goosebumps on my arm just stand every time.

The sailors joke was never funny, I've despised when people tried to act like they were original in making fun of it. But coming from Corey himself, I can see the humor.

Wonderful piece of music. I loved the scene when it played on Wong's boat, everything about it was perfect.

Comment I left in this video from GameTrailers, that ranks Shenmue as #1:
Shenmue is the most deep (with heart) immersive interactive lifelike entertaining experience I've ever played. It has spiritual context, filled with realism from the setting, atmosphere and the (np)characters. It's interactive fiction/storytelling and interactive art, where the gameplay (or rather experienceplay) elements serve to convey the saga with a quality that makes it feel real. If you have the patience to appreciate its beauty as a whole (and games for you is not *only* for thrills and quick bursts of adrenaline, through constant action, violence, blood and gore), then Yu Suzuki guarantees that it will be an *experience* for you, never to be forgotten and always loved. It's feelings and emotions that drives the passion behind Shenmue by the creator(s) and its fans.

Need some tech help.

My new TV has all the input connections known to man, except the glorious people at Samsung felt the need that a PC input was just not necessary in this great age, so im screwed when it comes to trying to hook up my DC VGA connection to get back into Shenmue again. Anyone any ideas what i need? I assume its some sort of converter, but i am having trouble finding one. I can find a HDMI to VGA converter with no bother, but i need the opposite to that, also with a separate audio connection built in.

Anyone know an answer to this riddle? And no, i am not buying a new TV :nice!:

Same situation here. No vga in my brand new expensive TV, need a converter box or better yet, an upscaler. Yama has one that will upscale to 1080 and looks glorious.
