Any of the Dojo Members bidding on/seen this thing before? I was going to bid on it but it's out of my price range now. I wonder if there's much in it.

It's a metro stamp book that shows transit lines, and features plenty of screenshots and illustrations from the game. I'm lucky enough to have one. :)

if you have the Shenmue mugs I'll buy them off you for a pretty good price. Those mugs are something i've wanted for a very long time.

From what I can see, there isn't much new of note except maybe one thing. The second-last page has a picture of what looks like two white metro cards with Shenmue artwork. One has an image of Ryo and Shenhua in Guilin, and the other one has Shenhua with her arms raised; the same image we've seen everywhere else including the memo pads and mini-CDs. If those things actually exist I sure haven't seen them around.

Of course, it's completely in Japanese so I have no idea what it says. Some of it shows actual destinations with photos and a map of the corresponding metro line. Maybe it's Tokyo? I have no idea!

Anyway, it's a very interesting piece as it seems like an odd juxtaposition of a real world metro book tied in with a video game.

A while ago I was going to ask you if you were going to take your collection with you and thought that would be a stupid question in the end.

Nah, i am leaving it at my parents house, along with all my consoles, games, magazines etc. If i get settled in Australia and maybe a wife, family etc. and end up living there, i will transfer it all over at some stage definitely. That is unless i sell it. I mean the watch, the artbook, sealed mint copies of each release across all regions, cinematic piece numbered 1 out of 100, signed Shenmue II by Yu Suzuki. Plus my autographed Halo II by Bungie's elite, plus also a huge Halo Reach signed by all members of Bungie. Panzer Dragoon Saga for Saturn......

I honestly could make a fortune.

I trust that your parents respect your stuff.

(my dad talked to a guy who left his comics at his parents place and the guy found out how much one of them was worth and went back to get it to sell it and the parents had given it to a neighborhood boy who destroyed it, we are talking like the first issue of one of the major comic lines)

How much do you project you have spent in total on your Shenmue collection?
