Yeah, I was the one that wrote about those three Shamisen tracks that play during the new years days.
There is another piece of music that I haven't found uploaded. When Ryo exits the bus on the day he leaves Japan there is a little piece of music playing for about 5 seconds that sound roughly like an arranged version of FREE 7.

the one that plays on new years day is a remix version of a song that plays in one of the resturants, but the track that plays on xmas day is very nice, and would love to have that up on youtube dojo page.

I've looked into these and have no idea how to obtain a clear recording. I even asked LanDC who originally recorded all the music from the game. He doesn't know either.

Isn't it possible to exchange files so the requested music plays instead of another one? That's how I always imagined you've got such clean recordings.

Since we're on the topic. Do you have plans to reupload or exchange audio on the older uploads from around 2008?
The have pretty noticeable compression artifacts at times. "Beyond the Memory" for example sounds really bad as the piano is almost ruined by a metallic ringing kinda artifact. The newer compilations sound absolutely perfect.

Love the smooth bass on this track! It has a gloomy atmosphere to it but I can listen to this for hours!

Just a couple questions, if you can help me out.

(A) Are the songs on the in-game playlist available in lossless format? (Store music like Tomato Convenience & Bob's Pizza)
(B) Are the composers for those songs ever listed?
(C) Who are the singers for 'Wish' and 'Shenhua ~Song of the Bay~?

I can answer B, not the others (sold my soundtracks, but I'm sure it says in the manual.

Composers for these songs are tricky to pinpoint. We know there was a team of composers working on both games, and specific tracks outside of the soundtracks have never been confirmed, except for the one off track through an interview (when I interviewed Takenobu Mitsuyoshi, he talked about Chai's theme being composed by Tadahiro Nitta). The composers for the soundtracks are listed somewhere, I believe, though.
