Neither. Too much money and I don't really see the appeal in collecting figures. If I still owned/played Shenmue I would of jumped on it about 5 years ago..

Am I the only one that thinks it looks tacky as fuck? If Shenmue was a popular, well-known franchise this'd be the kinda shit you'd find at Blackpool n Skeg Ness. But yeah, I won't be buying. The only things that'd get my attention are perfect mirror replicas, or possibly a Ryo that looks like Ryo. Being officially licensed doesn't make it look any less like some cheap arse knock off that the ebay guy slapped a high price tag on to scam some sorry suckers.

I prefer the design of the Standard but I got the exclusive.

Personally with the horribly shit figures we got in the past with Shenhua and Ryo on the Forklift. I think this will be the best we ever get.

I think it's a good looking statue. There is something about his face that doesn't look
quite like Ryo, but of the few figures and statues released this one blows away the others by a wide margin.

I know for a fact I have been ripped off but my love for Shenmue is uncontrollable.

I feel the same way when looking at Ryo's face. At certain angles his face looks a bit off. Not a big fan of the fight posture, as he looks like a hunchback. I would prefer the actual fight posture he uses in the games, or even him just standing straight.
