What if Shenmue also got released on the Neo Geo Pocket Color? With Dreamcast link capabilities.

It probably would have sold next to no copies at all. Though it could've been interesting if it was some kind of mini game collection where you could play darts and slot to win more rare capsule toys, train Ryo's skills and take care of the kitten. Kinda like Chao Adventure from Sonic Adventure.

Yeah you're right, it be pretty cool though, and be worth $200 on eBay for Shenmue Fans these days if it was made. It could've even been a fighter game, and when you sync it to your Dreamcast it levels up Ryo's moves in training/sparring modes.

That is a brilliant idea.

It could've even been the telling of Chapter 2. If the NGPC was popular enough of course. If I actually had some programming skills I would try making a demo by means of emulation. Of course I'm too lazy to do a project of that scale. XD

Never release Shenmue on a NEO GEO console. ever. The resulting game would be so financially unsuccessful that it may drag the world economy into a new even more devastating depression.
