The Morning Fog's Wave

Hey guys, long time lingerer, first time poster.
I recently came across the song 'The Morning Fog's Wave and it's so incredible..but I don't remember hearing it any point in either Shenmue 1 or 2...can someone point out to me when you come across this song in either game? Just curious.

although it appears on the shen 1 official soundtrack i think it only appears in-game during shenmue 2. it plays during a cutscene just after you wake up on wong's boat ( near the end of disc 2?)
there is so much quality on the shenmue soundtrack, morning fog's wave is especially nice.
most games would kill to have a single track of that quality on their soundtrack, yet shenmue has so many that there is not enough opportunities to use them.

Never would I've thought someone could rock out that hard to that song. A very bold interpretation with some crazy solos indeed.

That song always hits me in the feels by instantly taking me back to my freshman year of college. It was the same time when Shenmue 2 was released for Xbox. So many good memories of playing that game. The only regret was that I burned through the game in about two days. It really changed how I play games now though because I saw how quickly the
"new" experience was over. So if/when Shenmue 3 comes out I'll be taking my sweet time, soaking in all the details.
But after the main theme that song is my favorite. It's so beautiful.

It's funny you mention that because I'm the exact same way. I got Shenmue as a gift for Easter and beat it in 2 days. Now I take my good old sweet time with any game I really enjoy. I still wish I would've taken my time with the game on my first playthrough.

Fucking incredible song. Was just listening to the orchestrated version and I always think of so many memories and things when I listen to it. Incredible work.

I highly recommend taking a boat trip and standing on the deck with this blaring in your ears.
