Favorite minor character

I posted this topic years ago but can't find it using search. So who is everyone's favorite minor character in Shenmue 1?
Mine is Noriko I always wished the minor characters had more to say and she is on the top of the list. Hope I find out down the line that she's gotten that elusive kindergarten teacher job.

So by minor you mean someone that's not important to the main story, right? No "supporting" characters?
Mine would have to be Yamagishi-san for Shenmue I, and Delin for Shenmue II. Fun fact- Delin's grunts actually have a purpose. If you hear him grunt, you know it's safe to press "up" because he's not going to call out "left" or "right."

Yes and that's an old fact that I haven't heard in a long time. On a side note concerning a different side character it would've been neat if Mayumi confessed her love to Ryo.
Though now that you brought it up who is your favorite supporting character?

Always had a soft spot for
Tsuyoshi Takashima, the dude in the yellow and green top who can be found wandering around Dobuita (and lying down in Sakuragaoka) pretending to be drunk at night. I always make sure to have a word or two with him when our paths cross. He can be found sober during the day, but he's not nearly as interesting like that

Guang Ji Wang. Yes, he can seem kind of annoying but you gotta admire his ability to handle a drink or two.
And because the English VA for his brother Guang Yan Wang in Shenmue II is awesome.

I like Eri because she has a lot of interesting dialogue and interactions with Ryo.

Izumi (friggin' cutie!)
Shinkichi (basically has something useful to say EVERY time you talk to him)
The whole Nagai crew lol
Favourite supporting, far and away Xiuying, if you can consider her supporting...
