Shenmue Dojo

Today on the First4Figures official collector's club, a possible statue of Shenmue's Shenhua Ling is up for vote. She could, uh... really use the help.



So unless you want this to be the best looking statue of Shenhua out there, you might want to participate. Their Lan Di and Ryo statues turned out pretty darn amazing.

It's somewhat implied that the poll results could affect whether or not they renew their license with SEGA at all as well.

The LanDi one didn't sell well. It's not even sold out in certain areas. Looks like this one is a stretch too far.

On the first 4 Figures site. I can order the regular edition today but my money is a bit tight right now.

Hi all, I'm new to the dojo (though I've dropped by off and on for many years). To vote in their poll you first have to join their Facebook Group. First log into Facebook, then go to the Facebook Collector's Club page. In the header banner bottom right corner there's a "Join" button, click and it sends a request to an admin to let you join the group (it's free and they usually approve within 10 minutes). Once you've joined you should be able to vote.

Seriously, this is Shenhua Ling, the very first character you ever see in Shenmue (she even lives right next to the Shenmue tree), this statue HAS to be made. First4Figures makes high end collectible polystone statues (very hefty, finely detailed and handsome craftsmanship, hand assembled and hand painted) that are officially licensed collectibles, and these statues only get made once and never again (ensuring rarity). I have about 7 of their statues and they are incredible, definitely worth having and it legitimately supports these older franchises. You can see the statue they did for Lan Di (with a Dragon Mirror base for the exclusive version) on their website here. We have to spread the word to all Shenmue fans!

It's not on their page, it's in their group - the one you have to join first. And then the poll might not actually look like a poll until you expand the post. But it is there.
