This will turn off the shadows.
Options->PowerVR->Modifier Volumes-> 'OFF'

Shadows will still work in most cases, but the ones that are causing weird bugs need to be turned off. Unless you can deal with it on xD

Hello fellow Shenmue fans!

I'm newly registered here, but I've lurked for a while! Going back to the old days of the Dojo some decade ago. =)

Very hyped for the third game! Finally, we'll get some answers! =D

In any case, I'm here to find a solution to my problem with the emulator. For some reason, any of the newer build just won't run on my machine. I suspect it might be the DX11 features from the newer ones that has problem running on my rather old PC, but I have no problem running any other games and emulators in DX11 mode.

The build I use that works is the nullDC v1.0.4 (build Jun 20 2010@01:32:06). And I notice this one doesn't have the d3d11.fx, the mudpvr.dll and the G15_drkMapleDeviced_Win32.dll.

When I start any of the r150 version of the emulator, it opens but then shuts down without any error message. I'm at a loss here as to what exactly is going wrong. Please, I want to make this work, especially since the build found here has fixes for the game!

Thx

It immediately crashes on launch for me. I actually have the same problem with the regular 1.0.4. Haven't figured out why it doesn't work yet.

For 1gb cdi images that seem to be much superior to emulating the 99 min version of the English speech grab it here.

This fixed my sound problems in NullDC and you should always run this game in PAL mode, you can still tell it to run in 60hz at the menu, but PAL mode seems to fix the audio lag. Also try using Cable Type VGA(1) under NullDC settings this seems to make it look better to me.

I'm getting frustrated because I had this thing working perfectly 2 nights ago. Now whenever I try to load a game I get the error:

"Unhandled exception while Initing nullDC AICA [Apr 18 2014] plugin"

BIOS is in the data folder. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling multiple times. Downloaded the visual packs. Anyone else had this error?

Hi.

Have you tried using the preconfigured NullDC from this link?

Can you try Demul to see if there is an error too?

Tried installing Demul. The error I'm getting with that is 'Error! (HRESULT = 8007007e) Play'.

I don't think his hardware is an issue. It's a software problem. I've had similar issues with other emulators in the past, but once I moved to Windows 7, I now test the majority of my programs ( like NullDC ) whenever I install/update a completely unrelated program or driver. So easy to lose track of what you are installing and then spend forever trying to find the culprit.
