Here is an undub mod of Shenmue CD01 for Dreamcast.
This is as close to an undub for Shenmue as I can get.
Hope you enjoy it!

This release is for standard CD-R's.
99min versions will be released later.

FREE Speech uses mostly JP subs and JP speech.
When the NPC uses no speech then ENG subs are used.

This is the only way I could get free speech to work without crashing.

Only other way to get FREE speech to work would be to spend years, translating, linking the .idx, and renaming around 9000 files.

Well, Smith used to optimize all his releases so there is no doubt that he will get the quality up to par with RDC/DCRes releases.

Not sure if making custom covers and artwork is his thing though.

Good, then all that we need is a 99 minute version as previously discussed.

I didn't mean to imply the release wasn't quality, I apologize for suggesting that. I just wanted to make sure it was.

As for the artwork, surely there are some guys with some solid Photoshop skills to make that for all of us.

Preferably in both CD and DVD scale formats.

Yes, I plan on making a 99min version and possibly a standard cd-r overburn version too.
The 99min versions will more than likely have nothing removed.

You are right Anthony817 I am not good at artwork.
I am very good at mspaint lol.

Not to sound like a narcissist... but,the quality should be up to par with RDC/DCRes.
The guys in RDC make some really great stuff.
If interested you really should check out some of the ReviveDC releases.

DCRes made alot of great stuff also.
If interested you really should check out some of the Dream Resurrection project releases too.
