In 12 months all of the Shenmue 1 Models will be compiled and freely available, Sega will have to take the hint ,

..however I think a third shenmue game now is pointless, they have to start over from scratch, Ryo had some sort of destiny but spent the majority of his time in the arcade , collecting toys and asking questions .... at the end of Shenmue 2 something magical happens and the 3rd game was going to be.. magical ... seems a bit inconsistent , I really wonder if Yu Suzuki actually wrote the entire story , or just got carried away with the 80's (it happens to the best of us)

Nocon is probably the fan that has made the most important work for Shenmue fan's community.

I'm pretty sure that honour goes to Yazgoo , Nocon ripped a few models and put them in another engine (I do wonder if he made his own extraction program , and if he modeled them himself he wasted a lot of his time

Nocon remade everything from scratch but the Ryo model (He got it from All-Stars racing). While I am not sure if Nocon did the most important work ever he sure did some really nice modeling and texturing. I personally hope for some playable demo.

He should put Ryo's head from shenmue passport on SASRT Ryo's body, I really dislike the new face of Ryo.

If you thought NoconKid's ongoing recreation of Yokosuka couldn't get any more impressive, just wait till you see his new video.

The promised November update demonstrates weather effects in the form of an ominous thunderstorm over Ryo's hometown, lighting up the night sky and drenching the streets and their HD fittings with a downpour that would call a halt to all but the most dedicated training sessions.

It's every bit as beautiful as you'd expect from the hand of the South Korean super-fan with a full Shenmue remake in his sights. Let's just hope Sega doesn't rain on his parade.

Ok, the next time anyone is conducting an interview with Yu Suzuki, instead of asking him a stupid question which everyone watching the video rolls their eyes at (I'm sure there's one question we have all done it to. Don't lie) could you take 5 minutes and show him this work? Also give him this wee guys contact details to hire him and give him a job. Something like this may inspire him if he has a visual of how awesome it could look.

Noconkid has enhanced Shenmue so greatly that if I were to show anyone outside of the community this work and say it was a official trailer for a remaster it would be believable. Very much love this guy.
