Hi, I have a question xD, have you ever found a value to slow down the game logic? I mean animations, time etc, because It may help me for something cool.

Are all the codes supposed to work on any version of nulldc?

I"m trying to get invisible npc and invisible ryo and npc off to work but none of them do.

Nope, but thinking about it, some of the cutscenes do slow down momentarily (the killing blow against Iwao for example), so I wonder if the variable can be found from investigating that. I'll take a look.

Yeah I'm sure it's possible. I'm just not quite sure how to find it. I'll dig around.

Trainers for the xbox version exist with this feature. Maybe that could be of use for the DC version?

Yeah if I could find the values then it'd be easy to find the code too. So it might be worth using a trainer that does that.

Actually, thinking about it, I'm sure I've seen a Gameshark code online for Shenmue 1 which allows infinite health no matter which fight you're in. If I could compare that then I think I could make most of my codes universal.

Turns out that the infinite health codes that I can find online only work for fights sometimes, too. My other attempts at finding a universal health code have failed so far.

This is great but I have some trouble understanding the point of the first code, nothing seems to happen when using it.

The second code has two usages it seems. Using the second code AFTER a quick-save, when the game tells to exit, if the code is enabled then it returns to the game and you're able to keep playing. But this same code also works amazingly well if enabled just BEFORE you try using the quick-save function. In that case, when selecting the VMU icon, it shows you the normal interface where you can select the intended slot, later you will be able to load the save from the typical "Load" function on the main menu. The only potential issue is that sometimes it bugs the interface (menus, loading screens, pause screen) and be shown behind textures.

In any case, it works fine, although I still prefer the normal save function because it won't wipe the save after loading. Not sure what are all the differences between both save types but the quick save is accurate in terms of player position while the normal one is not.

Kudos for these codes alone ;)

As mentioned in my previous post, this code also works just before you select the resume (quick-save) function in that it will call the standard save function, but it's possible that it defaces the interface if you're not quick enough.

Other codes for [PAL]:
Skip Hours: 00226E25 0000003D - (skips 1 hour every few seconds)
Cassette Player Continuous Play: 02218DA4 00000000 - (lets you play your cassette player while walking around)
Snowfall (Hazuki Res): 024D0FA0 533EAC23 - (Makes it snow at Hazuki residence, during certain times only)

sort of on this topic: in order for me to get widescreen (or any) codes to work on my real copies of S1(US) and S2(PAL) on real hardware with gameshark CDX, I had to find and use "enable" codes for the games

however I haven't been able to locate such a code for S1(PAL) so I can play the undub, can anyone help?
