Shenmue1 on NullDC Saves Warning!

Hi everyone, recently I came across an issue playing shenmue 1 on NullDC

Sometimes for some reason, when i did try to save the game a message pop up telling me that the VMU is not formated
and it doesn't let you save the game... when it was perfectly fine to load the game before.

I did find out the cause of this issue but not how to resolve it, the cause is: PLAY Hang-on or Space Harrier

is you go to the arcade or the sega saturn and play those games, when you return home and try to save the game it will not let you..

I don't know if this issue is exclusive to the PAL version, I'm currently playing the undub version by Kogami, wich I think is based on the PAL version, don`t know if this will happen in the Japan or USA NTSC...

So If you want to avoid loosing progress, just stay away from those two brilliant arcade machines, I think. the rest of minigames might just work fine...

Same. This is my first time having issues with this and it's because I'm dong the EU version as well.

Not a problem in the NTSC version. Although, you can't even play Space Harrier in that version.

I'm playing the undub with no issues saving at all

i can confirm this. Happened to me today. I played Hang on and tried to save and had the same message. Also using the PAL version.
