70 man battle or 3 street fighters?

The 3 fighters displayed a certain uniqueness in each of their styles and in the 70 man battle the attackers would just come at you. Therefore, I'd go with the 3 fighters.

I think I've made known my feelings about the whole Street fighting/impress the scout section of Shenmue II....that is, I HATE IT!!

To me, that has to be the worst part in any of the Shenmue games. The battles are so drawn out and it just takes so long to do, that I dread this part of the game. To me, the game flowed well up until that point..with a nice blend of exploration and problem solving. It just seemed to me that the developers, while rushing to get Shenmue II ready for release, suddenly realized that there wasn't enough fighting in the game for those gamers who lack any sort of an attention span. So they added a huge block of mandatory fighting into the game which totally destroys the flow.

The 70 man battle wins hands down as the best fighting sequence in the series, especially when compared to the poorly done Street Fighting in Kowloon. No comparison!

Amen to that! The 70 man battle is by far my favorite part to replay out of both games. I'm also quite proud of my 6:11 clear time...

It is very very close IMO. but I'll have to say the 3 street fighters,they were hard and it really kept you awake (plus the music when you fight Rod Stunt is awsome). Does any one like the Dou Niu fight. I have a save game on the 40th floor of the Big Ox building. just so I can relive the rooftop scene and that fight.

I preferred the 70 man free battle, it had a better story behind it, and besides, it was just a lot of fun! That's not to say the street fighters were boring though.

70 man battle because it was exciting and the end was quite difficult, first time anyway.

It is easier then the 3 street fighters but it just seems more exciting and better because there's so many of them.

I t depends what you like better, skill, or button bashing mayhem
I liked both,
The 3 street fighters were quite tough and proved you had to be skilled to beat them, there was an instruction on how to beat them too.
Th battle with 70 lets you know where you stand in the Harbor, it makes you feel invincible especially as you have guizang with you.
It is more exciting and its good to practise fighting skills and learn combos.
The street fights can get frustrating sometimes.
