You've probably seen that OSY man in those supposed Shenmue III screenshots. He was conversing with Ryo inside of a temple--the text was in Japanese, i believe.

Alsoo on the Yuan thing its most likely there is no link but I always thought in games, movies, tv shows etc they tried to not use the same name to avoid confusion, unless Yuan has a bigger role than we first thought perhaps she/he is the son/daughter of this man who got jealous of Shenhua's arrival and left... or no!

Let me remind you this. In Japanese, this family name is never pronounced "Yuan,"
but "En," while the name of the man/woman of the Yellowhead stays "Yuan."
They don't sound close at all and there's no confusion to us. ;)

No you can't see him in the game (only in Shenmue II Beta in the pics shown in shenmue.com) you probably have seen the old man that play darts or the master of the martial arts school (a little similar to the osy) in Wan Chai.

I always thought that man was found by one of the modders here (probably LanDC I would suppose).

I think Osy resembles more of Jian Min, the Tai-Chi martial artist who practises under the tree in Lotus Park, South Carmain Qr. It's been a while since I played SII :(

The accurate translation for that line is, "you said you know Master Lishao Tao?"
Yes, we call her "Tou Rishou" in Japanese.

Then, in the pic 2, the question from the old man OSY to RYO isn't ...
"Do you know Professor Toorishou?"
but, Do you know Master Tao-Li-Shao ...?!

Is that the right thing KIYUU ?

in this case, OSY is a VIP in Shenmue III ... he knows RA-KOUSEÏ and XIU-YING HONG !
