You got your US save all converted so you can continue from it, Himuro? There are plenty of things to do while you wait for your 'Mue II to come!

How the heck can I convert my US save if I have no way to get my DC online?

Well yes... that's a good point, I didn't think of that. Living in a PAL territory I never had to convert. There's got to be an alternative route though. :-k

Australia is PAL? Does that mean that I can buy games if I go to Australia (I'd really like to visit sometime!), and play them over here? Also, what region coding is used for DVDs over there? I know that Europe is region two, and so is Japan, so our DVDs are all compatible!

Cool, cos I wouldn't be into getting my consoles/DVD players chipped or anything, even though I have that region X thing for the PS2. Thanks for letting me know, Samanosuke! ;)

We use PAL for our games, so yep, they'd be compatible. I often import games from the UK because sometimes they're just a hell of a lot cheaper. In fact a lot of the time (as with the DC) our games just come straight from the UK. The systems themselves aren't 100% compatible though, due to differences in power. The games are though.

DVD's are a different story, Australia is region 4 (same region as South America for some reason). So your DVD's bought here won't be compatible back home. Most DVD players you buy here are not region coded though (against the Aussie constitution or something, so they got rid of region conding on players), so you should be able to play your R2 DVD's no worries.
