chai returns in chapter 2 which they cut out on the boat. but chai doesnt come out of the boat, there for ryo must have thrown chai into the sea where chai died, or lived with fishes happily

If they cut that out of the game, I'm guessing it was cut entirely from the storyline. Which would probably mean that the whole Chai on the boat scene never happened, after all.

Belive Chai died on the boat, if he got into trouble with Ryo again... but Springchick is right, they cut it out, most likely for a reason, he'll might return.
Don't think Ryo managed to kill Dou nui, not yet... but Ryo DO have some mind working the ways of a killers mind, obsessed with Lan di as he is...
