There is a very detailed character guide on here for Shenmue 1 characters is there one for Shenmue 2 characters?

A few books offer a comprehensive guide to Shenmue II characters, but they were never released outside of Japan, so you need to be able to read Kana to understand them:

Yes; and I might as well announce properly here that the character database I was working on is very nearly finished and will be released soon
I have some scans from the Shenmue II Perfect Guidebook (basically the character profiles) that a member called Eek the Cat originally scanned (don't think he's around anymore); I don't own that book myself, but I do own the 'Shenmue II Complete Guide' which includes some profiles that the Perfect Guidebook doesn't. I'll post the scans I have along with the database once it's done

I have a mysql database that is hosted on the net, if you want I can integrate it and it will be accessible over the net as a shenmue resource.
