Shenmue 2 interesting textures

So I was going through the textures in shenmue 2 and came across a few that I don't remember being in the game, though if they were feel free to refresh my memory.
anyway here are some drawings of the Dragon and phoenix, these in themselves are not that interesting, however they come with the drawings also of the animals that represent the chi you men leaders and even more interestingly with drawings of animals that represent none of the known characters so far however were bundled up with the rest of them which makes me believe they represent characters that have yet to be announced (or possibly Characters that have been announced but the connection hasn't been made yet). Also the fact that these are in Shenmue 2 makes me wonder if there are further clues hidden somewhere

They're from the keys when you're looking for Zhu.

I'm pretty sure all these designs were on the keys in that one room on the top floor of the Ghost Hall Building. You have to put the right ones into this little statue thing and it opens a hidden door into Yuanda Zhu's room.

Damn I thought I was on to something too, I'll make sure to play through shenmue 2 again before posting anything else

Don't think there are 8 mirrors but maybe another organization that was going to come into it?

I think the other four animal keys are simply just there to make opening the secret door a little less "straight forward". I don't think they really have any other meaning.

then it's weird at least that yuanda zhu says you need 2 mirrors to get the map and the "treasure"? unless of course yuanda zhu is lying, which is plausible. but I can't believe yuanda zhu would work with chi-you men

^yuanda zhu is a crack fiend who would say anything to get his next fix. That's also why he's so good at making smoke tricks and getting people to believe his bullshit. Also the sword at the end of shenmue 2 isn't actually floating ryo is just experiencing severe dimensia after surviving solely on canned drinks for months
