Can someone explain to me what exactly Predictive Explosion does? Does it make attacks more "omnidirectional" or something of that nature or what?

I could be remembering wrong, but I believe it helps when you're fighting the acrobat street fighter by displaying a prompt whenever you can throw him.

Other than that, I can't think of anything.

I think the prompt to catch the guy pops up even if you haven't learned the move. But I could be wrong aswell.
I highly assume that the Predictive Explosion will serve as a plot device later on in the story.

Apart of all they said I think it's how Ryo wins the hability to fight without using his sight.

I have never tried to catch the monkey style practitioner having this move.

I don't think Predictive Explosion is required to beat the acrobat guy. I think it's something to be used later in the story.

Well, it seems that the Predictive Explosion is not as relevant to the story as I always assumed.

I've tried to fail this move instruction before but I guess I wasn't patient enough, so I've never seen this until now.
This is the most consequential move fail because if you do not hit Kai then Ryo will not even learn the move and you'll never get a second chance to do so. Ryo will continue his journey without this move.
