That's not unused. It is the ending to Shenmue II, the final cutscene.

Hm, now this is getting interesting! I just heard it running on my Dreamcast without any soundeffects and voices.
It sounds a bit different compared to what Ziming has in his video, wich I guess is from the Xbox version. Instruments tend to be a bit different there every now and then.

But the one you have is different yet again. Especially the intro part.
Where did you find this and how did you record it?

I posted about this awhile ago on the Facebook group. I was replaying Shenmue IIx on a different copy (I have two, one is too scratched to play), and the ending music was completely different than my other Xbox version! Apparently this is the issue with several of the tracks between Dreamcast and Xbox, but why between two Xbox versions?

Are you sure you're not confusing something?
I find it hard to believe there are different versions on the same hardware. I'd like to hear how they turn out if possible.

Absolutely positive. My current copy plays the DC version of the ending, and the copy I bought new way back when played the Xbox version.

Can you check the scene when Ryo arrives on boat to Languishan? Because the Xbox version doesn't play the correct music during this scene.

Finally was able to go and check. The rest of the music is as the other Xbox versions play, but the ending music is definitely the same as the DC version.
