Will the next stream be today? The Twitch channel is still saying "June 22". Has the date been decided yet?

No updated schedule as of yet, but it was only on Monday last week as Huber was going on vacation. Usually the Shenmue stream was on a Thursday

Shenmue 2 will be played Tuesday night.

UK peeps better book Thursday off of work. On Wednesday night 6PM PDT, the guys complete Shenmue II until the very end!

How long are they planning on streaming then, at their speed I can't see them doing it in an hour and half like usual lol...they got all the street fighters to do with the scout, and then the yellow head building, and guilin bit is like 2+ hoursish

They will play longer than usual. They should be fine if they don't get distracted by Lucky Hit boards.

ShenmueGuru will be there to guide them as well, right Peter?

The guru of all that is Shenmue will be there.

I dunno how they are gonna do it. I have a feeling Huber and Matt will stop playing like newbies and go straight for the objectives this time. They have played the game many times before so I never got all this "I'm lost" stuff. If they play the way they have been, they are looking at 4-6 hours easy. They have a lot of story and cut scenes to get through:

Chawan Sign to get to meet the blind man in the Moon Child Building
they then have to attract the attention of the scout by participating in street fights
make $500 to enter the first fight against Rod Stint
Find and defeat all 3 street fighters
storm the Yellow Head Building
Go through the entire Guilin sequence.

That's without lucky hit or messing about. That's still a lot of the game to get through.

I have a feeling they're misremembering how much of the game is left. Because they've left off at Zhu being taken by the Yellow Head, I think they think they're going straight into the Yellow Head infiltration. They may end up realizing at some point how much more they actually have left, and do a second session to finish it off.

The guys of the 'Funhaus' YT channel just did a livestream as well and were trashing the game as ''nothing was happening'' in the first hour of gameplay and just could not believe this game was doing $4,5 million on the KS.

We've heard it all before of course over the years. This is not a game for some quick fun with your friends. This game rewards you big time with patience. It will slowly suck you in. Huber gets it, the others of GT as well. Can't wait for the next stream.

Hence why GT has my hard earned dolla for a subscription. I can send the Funhaus guys a picture of my helmet and tell them to suck it....

They think they can finish SII in around 3 hours ?? (they'll need to get 500, do the 3 fights, the whole yellow head building and guilin).

Hopefully they'll get some money before starting the next play, because if not it's going to be a lucky hit stream.
