Shenmue Dojo

I like the darkside hazuki, demon drop, cyclone kick (as part of the kick, punch, kick combo) tornado kick, machine gun fist, and counter elbow assault. I love arm break fire but i usually have trouble pulling it off

Machine Gun Fist is awesome and I love the Iron Palm, even though I don't actually use it that much in game.
Counter Elbow Assault is always awesome to pull off and hitting someone with the Brawling Uppercut is all so satisfying.

Just recently I really got to like the Twin Swallow Leap. It sucks that it replaces the Tornado Kick but it's so funny to see how Ryo kicks an enemy up and then while the guy is still in the air he gets another kick to his guts. And many times he will then collide with a wall and get knocked off that and thus hit again before he finally falls to the ground.

Of course I also love a lot of the throws from Shenmue I and the Shadow Blade. Took me a long time to get the timing for that one down. I also like throwing in the cool counters and holds. It's sad that they made them much harder to pull off in Shenmue II, though that makes it all the more satisfying if you perform them.

Counter Elbow Assault + Demon's Triangle. So satisfying once you mastered it.

The Double Blow is one of the best looking moves in the game. It makes me feel like I am shooting a rocket launcher every time I use it. Its too bad that it is not that good in Shenmue I because of how slow it is and is almost unusable in Shenmue II due to the button assignment.

How can you use demons triangle if there's no battle opportunities after Xiuying gives you the scroll? Can you perform the moves in the street fights or something? I've never thought of it!

Does she give it to you at the end of disc 3? If so, then the only way I can think of to use it would be to play a battle mini-game on disc 4.

Yeah she gives it to Ryo right before he leaves for Guilin. And obviously there are no fights during that segment of the game. But i never even considered trying it during the street fight mini games. Is it hard to pull off?

Double Blow, Demon's Triangle, Machinegun Fist, Swallow Dive. I also love landing a good ol' Brawling Uppercut. Sends anyone but Dou Niu down to the ground.
