Is it safe to transfer the Shenmue 1 save file to Shenmue 2?

So im Using nulldc and just beat Shenmue 1
When playing Shenmue 2, would it be safe to transfer the save file onward into SHenmue 2? Or will it damage my computer?

I dont want to take the risk thank you for your time :D

It'll wipe your hard drive and kill your parents. Don't do it.

It's true. I did it and my hard drive was wiped and my parents were killed.
