Shenmue Dojo

Going back through Shenmue 2, when Ryo asks Yang about Yuanda Zhu, he, without hesitation, sets Ryo and Ren up. Did Don Niu know Ryo was trying to find him as well? Did Lan Di tell him? As far as I know, Lan Di didn't know Ryo was searching for him until the rooftop fight with Don Niu. Just found that interesting.

Yang used to be Zhu's informant, remember? But Dou Niu forced Yang to work for him. It stands to reason that if Yang is informing Dou Niu about someone asking about Zhu, then Dou Niu would then learn that Ryo is looking for Zhu. Not really complicated at all.

If you don't remember this, Yang called Dou Niu on the phone right after Ryo and Ren left the shop.

Yeah, I noticed that part about him mixing some "precious herbs" when in actuality he called Dou Niu to inform him about Ryo's arrival.
