please, can you tell me if you have found something hidden inside the cave or behind the giant mirrors that is not in the game ?

do you have found, in shenhua's house, and translated papers on the bedroom's table please ?

Almost a year already since the last post. I remember the days when we were all hacking Shenmue. 2003... holy crap it definately has not been that long. We need to continue this process since Shenmue 3 still is not done...

Has anything new happened that has not been posted? I might start getting back into it. Is that mod pack still available for Shenmue 2.

as far as i know there might not be much that we can still do. LanDC took care of the texture hacking and all of that stuff. Miles is doing the profiles that will help with the story line. I think what we need to do now is focus on the mods for Shenmue 3. FEor example the Half Life 2 mod. I guess Shenmue Source? Im not sure what to call it, since we already filled in some holes in the story line with the proposed theories, maybe we can put all of this together into a game. Anything would be awesome. Im starting to think up more theories. I really want to rethink my idea of the picture in Shenhua's house about the forbidden mountains. I really think it is the home of the Chi You Men. I really hope that Shenmue 3 GDRom is real... although i sincerely believe it isnt. We can all hope though.

I would like to play Lan Di rather than watch only screens.
If I understand correctly you all get this effect on xbox version, right?

I have just read (briefly) thread about shenmue 1 mods, and there was this one when you didn't have to sleep and you could see the sunrise.... is it possible to achieve in shenmue 2 on xbox too?

The scene in Shenmue 2 where Yuan is beaten by Ren, tied to the handrail of the elevator, and has a trash can kicked at her. Is there a way to mod the game so that Lan Di takes Yuan's place? To have Ren kick the trash can at Lan Di. That would be funny.
