ANOTHER broken floor in the Dancing Dragon building means that one cannot actually enter room 501, nor explore the hallway. Even the elevator in the middle of the building offers no succor: it is express from 1 to 10.

I wonder if hacking to get past the floor would yield any answers... knowing Shenmue 2, the doors could actually contain something behind (probably just other ceiling-fan rooms) which they didn't bother removing after putting the the floor gaps.

Those must be the gaps that Ryo and Ren jumped across... so I should think that the rooms they used for hiding in and the kicked-down wooden door lurk somewhere around there.

I bet the other rooms all contain things too, but probably just the usual ceiling fans. Hacking that area would be intereseting...

Well, the rooms that Ren and Ryo go into aren't actually in the Dancing Dragon Bldg. (they run through the doorways that link it to the other buildings)

Room A3-502 (Room 502 in the Tea Break Bldg) is the cell Ryo and Ren were trappedin.

Room A4-409 (Room 409 in the Three Birds Bldg) was the room that Ryo and Ren hid in, and then found the stairs to the roof in (unfortuantely though, the door to this room is always locked if you try going there before or after the whole "handcuffed" event)

Just a list of all those rooms which are not locked.

I'm going to try to compile it all onto a site soon,when the last few buildings get done. The site'll be like Miles's site he has. I went to the website and I'm a little confused by all of it, but I'll probably figure it out.

i admire the work you guys are going through. damn, that's some research. i probably would of saved you guys the time if i wrote down my findings when i searched EVERY ROOM OF EVERY BUILDING during my first run through Shenmue II for the Dreamcast (import) when it was first released!

unfortunantly there was no hidden toys to find in any of the rooms. this is where i wish am2 gave us the option to find things like sunglasses, caps, jackets and jeans for Ryo to wear. or with the money he earns, he should be buying clothes and food.

but a customizable Ryo would give good reason for hunting down more than capsul toys and fighting moves we rarely get to use.

and purchasing food and clothes (including acessories) would be a good use to spending money.

but giving stuff to joy as a gift to wear...and she wears it....or Fagmei birthday gift is actually worn...that would be nice.
