great a new sega ip that no one will give two shits about and one which will receive no marketing what so ever. Just release Shenmue already.

Someone needs to interview them and instead of asking the typical questions, ask them what their problem is with the shenmue ip.

There is clearly some issue. Even if shenmue did cause them to lose a ton of money in the past. It was clearly their own damn fault for a number of already known reasons.

Sorry, thats my mini rant over with . Im just fed up with how this company treats one of its most loyal fanbase's. Its been over a decade, do something with the ip.

An interviewer needs to grow a set of balls to take it where they are told beforehand by the PR not to. Apply some pressure, and if the interview is terminated, then so be it. But at least you had the guts to ask what a lot of people are to afraid to ask. Still haven't heard one person try to interview Yu Suzuki and ask him if he has ever heard of, and would ever consider a Kickstarter for Shenmue to continue.

I actually had an idea for a site like Kickstarter. People could say they was willing to pay for an unannounced game and once that is announced the developer gets the money. So people could say how much they would pay for a copy of Shenmue, Earthbound 3 or GTA6 and the total adds up and the moment the company confirms it they get the money and people have a reserved copy.
