My one question to Suzuki...
Earlier in the year, he revealed that Sega may let him make Shenmue III. What is the status between you and Sega regarding the future of Shenmue III?

) so I am gonna take as much as possible out of Suzuki-san, But if at this time and age he's never answered properly to any of this questions, I highly doubt we are gonna get the answers we seek.

November the 26th or 27th, during the Toulouse Game Show. This week I gotta get the final timeslot, all I know is that I've been given 1 hour. Once it's done, if it turns out well I'll upload it a couple of days later with minor cosmetic edits but full in content at http://www.videoxoc.com both with Spanish and English subtitles, if I only get a few things right, I'll edit and upload the highlights and the rest will go to the Yu Suzuki Special Video that will be uploaded on January 2012, for the official opening of videoxoc.com (it's still in beta mode).
In any case I'll promote it as much as I can here at the forums. I hope you guys like the interview, it will not only focus on the concerns about the future of Shenmue (even if that's a crucial point of the interview) but also on his aspirations and sensibilities as an artist, something different than the regular interview, so we'll see how well it goes with Suzuki-san!

I seem to remember reading they also had problems getting it to work properly? Think it was due to the boat size?

Shenmue's narrative appears to be just as much about Ryo's maturing from boy into man as it is anout getting revenge on Lan-Di, this is particularly notable in the changes from shenmue 1 to Shenmue 2, where Ryo is longer with the comfort of his home and Ine-san, his curfew and childhood friends, and thrust into a vastly different and dangerous landscape where he must fend for himself, be mature and make new friends. The player really feels this development. Was this completely intentional? Is Shenmue at heart, a coming of age tale?
The two games display a staggering amount of appreciation and love for Chinese culture and martial arts. In fact Shenmue 2 is the only game to date to actually feature a Chen style Tai ji quan practitioner as a character, which is actually quite a remarkable achievement and indicative of your interest in Chinese culture. What initially sparked this keen interest in China?
The Shenmue games in some ways felt as though you wanted to do so much with them in terms of interaction, but in certain areas couldn't quite fit it all in. For example there never felt as much to do and see with the "FREE" system as there could have been. Do you wish you could have put more interactivity into Shenmue? Or do you feel you got the balance right?
I know you won't be able to ask all of these, but even just one would be very much appreciated!

2- If you would make a new full fledged game, would it be Shenmue like or a genre game (racing, fighting, sport, etc.)?
3- What features of now days would you liked to had in the development of Shenmue and what new features would you like to add in Shenmue III ?
