Thanks. I have heard various stories on why KFC is popular in Japan around Xmas time. I heard a similar story to what was told in the podcast that an America family in Japan wanted to have Xmas dinner. You cannot get turkey or other traditional Xmas meals in Japan so KFC was the best they could get. The manager just thought it was a cool idea to submit to corporate and it took off from there.
