New Posts In Sub Forums

Would there be a way to show on the main page when there is a new post in one of the sub forums? When I usually go through the forum I just open a new tab of every topic with a new post and go through them.

Sadly not the way you described, I wish. But if the last post happens to be in a sub forum, it'll at least show it on the index.
