I think the sub forums will stay as is. That was a ton of work and less database.

Why get rid of it? It could be used for people's actual work to showcase their creative writing skills. Just designate it for a more useful purpose instead of getting rid of it all together.

I never insinuated shutting down the sub forum. I only addressed topics that were being abused. There was never any call to delete creative writing. But its managements decision

I'm a fan of the creative writing section (and contributor though thanks to many factors I have failed to contribute recently) and I also dislike the one word, two word stories (etc.) because they're just jibberish but that's just my opinion. Others enjoy them, I tried participating but it doesn't do it for me. In regards to the entire creative writing section possibly being gone, well, any creative writer will find a creative way to post their story on the dojo regardless so no worries. However, I do have some stories in the section that I do actually plan on adding to and don't want to see deleted but I'll just have to deal with it if we choose to destroy it.
