Posts Per Page

Would there be a way to change how many posts are on each page? The best would be if each person could change it to suit them as many seem happy with 15 per page. I have to say I prefered the 25 per page.

Fucking HATE scrolling. really was taxing my mouse when I went to sites that liked me to scroll forever.
It esp now would piss me the hell off now that we have youtube topics,forbid the loading times per page. Then would enforce to stricter youtube posts to ONE VIDEO per post.
It's boardwide, if i wanted I could go to the ACP and change it but I won't. As for individuals have their own preference,be cool if you could but don't think it can be done unless Mr. Rod or Yama can say otherwise but honestly never heard that been done on any MB.

This site is slow as hell as it is for firefox,not wanting it to be crawling like a limbless torso using only chin movement to move forward.

My big fat blue clubbed foot says 15 posts per topic.

I love auto pager. It solves this problem most places but it doesn't seem to work here for me. Whether that's on my end or something to so with this forum I don't know

I've seen a few sites where each person can choose their prefrence. Unless it can be done with each person making their own choice then yeah 15 is fine as not that many people have fast internet. I just hate having fewer posts per page.

I mean, at most forums I go to auto page will start loading the next page as I scroll down, and I can end up seeing a multi page topic on one page with no slowdown, but here this happens.

Also it's been 15 posts since February so to bring it up 7 months later is kinda wierd.

I will wait for thier comment if they do but since they took over they left it the same.
All it takes is going to the ACP and changing the number. As mentioned before I could easily go in right now if I wanted and do it myself but I refuse to do it.

Unfair is a pretty strong word, haven't heard any other complaints regarding this "issue". Like Blue said, would rather not change it so it takes longer to load, for the reasons he mentioned. If you want it changed feel free to persuade him, he has the power to change it himself though I'm pretty sure the both of us have the same view on it. Best left as is.

And fair is not always what suites you specifically. It is usually the majority and going with what most people want. Sadly that doesn't fit your needs this time. If more people want it, we'd gladly change it despite our taste.

When I said it is unfair I meant to change it to what I want so evreyone has it. I only made this suggestion since you guys are doing alot of work and I've seen other places that are able to have each person choose what they want.

I'd like more posts per page as well. I understand there is a loading time issue for some but loading times is no longer an issue for me as I switched off the signature display in the control panel. Pages load much faster now.
