although nothing can really rival Shenmue in terms of storyline, gameplay ect this does look good, not good enough to make me buy a PS2 or GC

if shenmue 3 was to come out on X box, i wouldent hesitate to buy one.

the day before yesterday ( ;) ) sega jp released the vf cg trailer, that should allready have been dlable from kikizo before. but as you might know, this version was broken and did not show the entire movie, so for anyone who is interested (to see akira lau and pai in action f.e.) or simply wants to watch the shenmue stage in motion, you can dl the trailer from:

Not that i really care bout this to much but my bruv just pointed it out. The graphics suck compared to shenmue.
Look interesting tho, i'll probably buy it.

Those are really, really bad graphics. I mean, REALLY bad. It looks more like a Saturn game. Why would they include a 32-bit level in a game on the GC? Even the character himself looks low-res.

I think that's partly the drawing style of VF:CG, which is a GameCube game and consequently a little more cartoony and less realistic.

I was playing some kind of Mario Golf game today, and I was struck by the extremely primitive means used to indicate wind motion in the sky - it's what that market expects, though.
