I don't think he does work directly with Sega anymore anyway, I think he just checks on projects every now and then. After what happened to Shenmue I don’t he has much say at Sega they just throw projects at him every now and then.

Just goes to show how seperate the english and japanese entities of Sega are. Even the Sega uk and sega us sites lead to one place... I thought attacking Sega with our demands would get the message to the right people... but it looks like we need to focus much more on Sega of Japan.

I'm also going to e-mail teletext. Hopefully they will give us a feature.

I posted about the Shenmue Myspace Campaign on there when I started it, and they ripped me apart. Even if Kikizo likes Shenmue, the people in the forums seem to be haters...

Word of advice, remove the section that asks for donations when you post our plans in forums. It does make it look like spam and it's easier to attack. Let the donation requests wait for when they are members and are dedicated to the cause.

Great idea guys, I made some suggestions over at Sega of America boards.

basically i think it would be a good idea to try some different stuff too, some things that you don't see often at all.

I know over here (Australia) it costs about $40~50 an hour to hire a promotional staff member to stand around with a sandwich board/in costume, so thats another avenue if you don't want to/can't get people to volunteer.

Again like I said, check out www.globalsources.com for some possible merchandise you can make/sell for a few dollars. Although minimum order is usually in the thousands so that might not be very suitable lol.
