Yea i was about to say something along the same lines. Its like James Wan and Leigh Whanell (the creators of the Saw franchise) havent been involved in a Saw movie since Saw III, yet will always be executive producers despite not having any involvement and even being rumored to think that the rest of the franchise post their leaving have been god awful.

the team that workd on yakuza were a big part of the shenmue games i think those guys will more likly to make shenmue 3

Suzuki-san, not that long ago, stated that, in the emergence of a new Shenmue, he will be properly involved, so we have that security. With him playing a role in it, a new Shenmue will certainly be lead in the right way, however ends up making the game.

The last time Suzuki talked about Shenmue Online and his yearn of still making it a reality, he was confronted with Shenmue III and while saying there were no plans concerning it at the moment, he stated that, if it was to be, he would be involved, no question there.

I didn't said recent. I said not that long ago. And this should be relativized to the reality of Shenmue, we get a couple of words concerning it between intervals of years.

As I said in the last post, I was refering to the last time Suzuki-san talked about Shenmue Online, when he expressed that, while everyone was saying for a long time that SO was dead, he still wanted to do it. Then the topic of conversation changed to SIII and he said (treating the two games as whole different beasts) that currently they had no plans for it but he would always be involved in SIII, if the game was made.

There was a link in the news section of the Dojo, before the Dojo changed it's jacket.

Shenmue is an author's work, those words about always being involved in the future of the series , will last as long as he is alive or lucid enough to do it.

'Shenmue is not a memory, but a part of me', Yu-san said to an old Xbox Nation interview about Shenmue II on the Xbox. It will always be.

I agree Axm, Yu_San's ultimate master piece, will be dealt by himself* I don't know why he's taking his good ol time though we got some of the best technology to date for shenmue 3

Unfortunately there's a lot more that goes into making a video game. If it's not seen as being profitable, they won't bother spending the time to do it. And it's really sad too, because all the beta footage suggest the entire story is completed.

Clint I believe so too! I can feel Shenmue III on its way its taking sooo long to come I guess it gonna be a flawless game.
