I AM BOYCOTTING SHENMUE 3

I think that we're just getting alittle too frustrated. The anger is caulsing some of us not to think straight here. I understand xdjoynerx's frustration. Sega has been stringing us along with BS news for the longest. They should just tell us if they're working on Shenmue III or not. But the bottom line is: Boycotting Shenmue III is just insane!

What is your problem? Why do you act like they are sadistically holding the game away from you? We know little about the situation and we should just keep calm until we understand the full extent of this.

This is no different that actors who are sworn to secrecy about revealing plotlines for upcoming movies and such. Remember when Scream 2 was being secretly made and the cast had to sign an affidavit that could get them sued if they told anyone about the story, plot, twists, etc.?

You don't remember that?

Oh well. Digital Rex and/or AM2 must have something like that going on with either Sammy or Sega Corp. themselves. I think Yu and crew really want to spill the beans, but they just are not *allowed.

So that makes me think there is some development going on.

By the way... is Shenmue a property of Sega or Yu Suzuki? When I heard the news that Tetsuya M... something from Space Channel 5 left Sega, I figured that's the end of Space Channel 5 sequels forever.

If anything happened to Yu himself, would he be able to take Shenmue with him, or is it locked as a SEGA property and not his? I wonder...

They will give us information about the game but don't expect don't expect anything Shenmue related until E3. Which takes place in May. I just hope that happens or Shenmue is doomed.

And the only reason he answered is because he was put on the spot. What I'm saying is that they should just come forward and tell if they're plaining on continuing the Shenmue are not. Instead of acting like it's one step away from starting, like they been doing for the last 2 years.
