I can imagine only 2 "bombs" that coud really impact this kickstarter:

-Shenmue 1 & 2 HD (unlikely but who knows?)
-A Shenmue 4 stretch goal (almost impossible, though i think that it wouldn't cost much more money to create both games).

I still see no proof of the Kickstarter team or Cedric Biscay hinting at a "bomb" update...why are people getting hyped lol?

Well, based on his tweets, it seems that he's at least privy to "something" that's getting him excited. Whether it ends up being released now/after the KS/etc is all up in the air, since it's not his call.

I'm gonna go with cautious optimism on this one.

I think the trailer was the bomb. He probably didn't think they'd be able to make it in time.

Hey, the Kickstarter made $100K+ yesterday and will make even more today, so I don't think anyone can complain.

I've got the flu, so I will complain.

The Quick Timed Event starting shortly as well. Excited to see life after the KS as well.

Yeah, the $5 million goal is pretty much a few hours away at this point…which is amazing.

With some luck, Brazilian/ Portuguese fans will get their subtitles as well. Given the size of that market, they should’ve been an early priority (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese, Chinese, Korean subs should almost be day 1 goals).
