Shenmue III graphics Style...Revamped Engine?

I don't understand why some of you are so against a revamped graphics engine? Whether some would like to admit it or not, Shenmue technically is becoming quite dated in a few areas and which certainly need a brush up. While the art style and direction remains some of the best I've seen in a game, secondary objects, non-playable characters, textures, clothing and so forth are showing real signs of ageing.

I want to say that i don tthink the first game was cartoony at all, nor the second, I think that thye both looked beautiful
