Seems that pre-sales are slowing down again.
We have gathered about 220.000$ in the paypal campain so far. Guess it's not all that bad as long as the money is really going into producing a better game. I kind of worry that this extra money is just going into higher salaries and team dinners.
I think they really should close down the campaign a couple of days after the magic monaco event.

These things are always driven by a sense of urgency, though: look at the Kickstarter, compare the donations in the last few days compared to the relatively dry period in the weeks preceding.

The PayPal doesn't have the exposure the Kickstarter did though. We got the boost near the first end of the PayPal campaign, but it wasn't anything near the Kickstarter's end, so that's why I think the PayPal is more beneficial being kept open in the long-term along with KS rewards and PC slacker backer option.

The exposure part is true, but there are still 69,320 KS backers who receive email updates, and if just 10% of them upgrade their pledges in some way when the opportunity arrives, then that's a huge boost.
