It's already the 15th most successful Kickstarter ever, pretty impressive.

I created an account to post this. I've been waiting for Shenmue 3 for along time. I first played Shenmue 2 on xbox. I bought it not knowing what it was, because it was cheap, like 10$. This was back in 2002 I think? I liked it a lot. So much so, I wanted to play Shenmue 1 so I bought a Dreamcast on eBay just to play it. Anyways, I definitely want to contribute but I think the kickstarter should allow Paypal.

They are discussing it, and will probably allow it. Problem is, paypal donations never get shown in the pleged amount. I think if you give it a week or so, it will probably open up.

To be honest if they keep paypal donations and keep giving other stretch goals I can see it happening.

In the kickstarter ? 8 million like something CRAZY. Probably around 5/6.

The kickstarter website only supports certain card payments. They dont accept paypal or even maestro. So a paypal donation system would probably have to be done independantly on their own website.

If they keep pledges going via paypal after the kickstarter has ended, then I think it'll be fine. Really hope that comes to pass. Otherwise, I suspect it'll do around 5 million or 6 million.

It isn't accepting my visa debit card either for some reason.

I love the rallying calls on this this forum! I've upgraded to $250 reward. I may be able to stretch to $300 but I think that'll be it.

I swear it reached 3.5 million last night? It's on 3.47.

It's gone down a significant amount a few times now! It's very worrying.

Someone else pointed out it also seems to happen often as we approach a stretch goal...

Just raised my pledge by another $100. I'm afraid this might really be all I can do for the Kickstarter. I'm actually spending money I would have needed otherwise, but I hope I can manage for the next two months.

I'm the only one that thinks backer tiers are not really balanced and not that much enticing ???

If you do 3 times the 175 pledge, you get 3 physical games, 3 artbooks, 3 t-shirts, 3 toys. You end up not getting the signed illustration, some ingame content and one toy. But get 2 more of everything else (comparing to 500 tier).

The same with the x4 120 pledge, you don't get 3 artbooks but get one more of everything else.

For example the difference between the capsule toy tier (120) is 20 more than the one without, but the 500 tier only differs you get 3 more toys, but it's 200 more. The ingame stuff if it would be dlc would be 10 dls (it's just a skin and 2 moves).

There should be a custom usb tier with the game included (since it's pc), that should be cool (specially since not a lot of people have dvd drives today). We have seen more complete collector editions for half the price of the 300/500 tier.

I've said before we need more tiers, and they said they will add more, but even today tiers are not really that "must buy".

Yeah I was thinking that even though this KS is an overall success, something still wouldn't feel right if after all this time we didn't pass Bloodstained as the most funded game on KS. Looks like we're on our way though - I think $6-7 million looks attainable.
