I've ordered both, but I think I will keep the PC version sealed and play the PS4 version.

Or buy the regular PC version too and play that.

I'm buying a PS4 specifically for Shenmue 3.

I don't know how the physical pc version will be.

A box with a download code ? a disk (I don't think I have a reader anywhere) ? USB ?

I will be playing on PC of course.

60 FPS All day, so... PC, also I am pretty sure some of the current WIP images of Shenmue are super taxing for the ps4, all that vegetation and transparencies.... So the only platform that will let play the game without compromises is the PC.

4K is truly amazing, for both old and modern games.

Shenmue III in 2160p or nothing.

I voted for the PC. Potentially better graphics and performance if you have all the expensive hardware to go with it. PS4 will definately still be just as impressive and right out of the box, so to speak.

But when all the dust settles and we have finished playing our third and fourth play through, those with the PC version will most likely be able to modd or at least download moddable content.

No not the little extras you pay on the side that is official, but full blown free modifications be it side quests, new player characters, new NPCs, buildings that were barren or "locked" can now be upgraded and able to be entered. New fighting moves, styles, little things to buy, whole new areas and cities, etc. Basically it would breath new life into the game even 17 years later till the next game.

Another advantage is if there is a crippling bug and the game team decides not to fix, the community can. And they can even make the graphics better themselves for the whole community. Maybe even get it online. Unless the game developers make the game purposely unmoddable, Shenmue 3 has the potential to be 3.2, 3.5, or more, even 4 if there was no official 4th game to come.

Use a cheap Xbox controller or a ps4 controller.

Your rig is fine. Although I didn't know there was a TI version of 1050.

Don't have a PS4... waiting for the Kickstarter PC physical copy.
Although I'm ready to buy a digital copy as well both to increase sales and elude any possible shipping delay.

Same here man. I've brought:
- Shenmue III PS4 physical copy
- S3 World Telecom (In game item)
- Digital PS4 copy of Shenmue 3.

If something happened to my copy of Shenmue 3 on release day and I couldn't play it, then that would be like a sharp stick to the eye. Always be caution guys. I'm sure quite a few people have done the same though.
