Oh wow. Maybe they've done another repress.

Twitter seemed to indicate they'd sold out pretty quickly, but I guess not.

I'm glad for you Peter!
Will you be allowed to ask some questions to Suzuki there? And record whatever is show in there?

I will record as much as possible, and I will be able to talk to Suzuki-san in general, but in regards to an official interview, the guys at Shenmuemaster are still kindly working on that for us. I'd say lots more info will come out over the coming weeks as the event draws close so I will do my best to keep you all updated.

Excellent news.

Not sure what the etiquette for recording a press screening is, but I'm sure whoever is handling PR on the day will say something if they're explicitly not allowed.

It may not matter anyway, though. The KS update going live at the same time might contain everything being shown in the business area.

Yea I'd say it won't matter too much. I will be recording random footage for video packages when I get back anyways, and the KS should also have any major announcements covered.

But I'm a fan of live reaction videos so I will be trying to capture any footage like that at the event.

Even though everything will be posted in the kickstarter page, maybe some minor details could be lost without recording the press event as the reaction of Suzuki at the time he show his masterpiece and the reaction of the journalists.

As always, thanks for everything you do for Shenmue Peter!

No probs. Its all for the cause. I don't do it alone though. It's a team effort, and right now I'm more concerned about everyone getting their passes and being there, as well as fans who are attending getting as much info about the meet & greet as possible. I will be there for the duration and will help out as much as I can.

On that note, I'm not 100% sure if it's allowed, but I have tickets to the 3 days I no longer need (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday) so if anyone wants them, they are up for grabs.

Actually i visit Anime and Manga Conventions. AnimagiC moved from Bonn to Mannheim which is more than 100 kilometers further than Bonn and so i can't visit my favourite Con. But i was on Dokomi and it was really nice there and i needed just some minutes to be there. ;-) And my wishes comes true that Shenmue III comes to a Convention and will be presented the first time with videos, new infos and Yu himself. I'm so really hyped that we get much more news than in the last months on one day. 8)

Three weeks still to the gamescom, it looks like a never end! Sometimes it seems like a dream that we are going to see Shenmue 3, I never lost faith but It was almost impossible for me and now we are only three weeks to see it properly!

How will look like Shenhua, Ryo and the "old" characters?
How will it be to play with the new free battle mode after Suzuki's new ideas?
How big will be the game compared to Shenmue 2?
Will the NPCs have their own daily routines as they had in previous games?
How will look like the NPCs?
I have tons of questions!

This is excellent news. I'm glad we have someone in there just in case we miss something in the KS update. Looking forward to it.

Weird to think we're just over two weeks away from this thing now, y'know? After literally years of anticipation too.

Shenmue III hasn't been at an event of comparable size since it was announced two years ago. MAGIC is kind of just a blip in comparison, when you think about it. A distant blip at that, over a year and a half ago.

Even the stuff $10K backers saw in Japan is like 14 months old now. Even our super brief glimpses at the game running in late February will be six months old when Gamescom rolls around. There's just so much distance between what we know about Shenmue III, and what YSnet actually has now.

Probably best not to let expectations run wild, though. There are going to be at least a few other opportunities where Shenmue III has to appear in a promotional sense, so some cards are going to have to be kept up the sleeves.
