Shenmue sites dissapearing...

If you browse through the Shenmue top 50, it is sad to see that alot of these sites have been shut down or discontinued. It looks to me that shenmue fans are loosing hope and giving up. It seems that the dojo is the only real active, sucessful community left. It is sad that this is occuring and to think that if Digital Rex just gave a little more info too the fans, those communities would still be active today. It is just another bad effect of the drought of hard news on Shenmue.

Well I gave up my site but it doesn't mean I gave up on Shenmue it's just that I couldn't be arsed to do becuase there is no news :lol:

I'm gonna be blunt, most of the other Shenmue sites around were pretty lame anyway.

Yeah and knowone really went to them. The best thing to do is give up on them and just come here.

That's not the point, though. The point is that there was a number of Shenmue sites, but due to SEGA's terrible handling of the situation, people are giving up, loosing interest or just simply forgetting about it. And that's a sad situation.

well, i think there aren't that many shenmue fans anyway, so we don't need like 50 sites where they can hang around. besides that www.shenmueharbour.net , www.ryosplace.tk / www.shenmueplanet.com and www.shenmue-uk.tk are some real nice alternatives to the dojo!

hopefully shenmuelegend will get back together when we get some shenmue III news coz they didnt officially 'close down'!!!
