Tom: "*ahem* Oh My God! Ryo!!!!! You've KILLED him!"

*Bus keeps driving*

Tom: "Hey! Come back! I need you for evidence!"

the post with ryo and the hot dog was a funny 1 but a funny ending would be that Ryo gets knocked out by Lan Di Then Fuku-san gets angry and batters Lan Di and it all turns out that Fuku-san wants the mirrors so he finishes of ryo 2.

Anyway, I think it would be cool that there would be two different endings. One for Ryo defeating Lan Di and one for Lan Di defeating Ryo.

I know I don't post much. I lurk more than I post. But, this is one of those topics that lure me out of the darkness.

Let's face it guys, more than likey, and don't get me wrong, I would love to see to it that Lan Di perish by Ryo's hands. But, let's take the traditional way of martial artist, and the people around him. Iwao said to him, "Keep Friends...those you love close to you". Then he died. This can enrage a son, or even a daughter, but he seeked revenge. And, what did Master Chen say..."Your father wouldn't want you to throw your life away on revenge". He kept on, and then he ends up in Hong Kong, and Lishao Tao saids, "Don't venture on to the dark path of a martial artist". Sure, Ryo Hazuki has revenge on his mind, but as Shenmue II closed out, didn't you feel like he grew up, I believe, he'll take the road less travelled and and fight Lan Di, and throw off his plan along with his group's plan with the Chi You Min.

Hell get his answers, and his filling for revenge for defeating him, but not killing him. He'll turn his back, thinking everything is over and Lan Di, being the snake he is will strike, and Ryo may be forced into a fight to kill Lan Di. The fact is, Ryo will grow alot, and try not to stain another man's blood on his life, and follow all the advice given, unless forced, because he wants to keep friends, instead of losing them to the cartel, and he wants to not have to live his life in fear of having to watch out for revenge, which will happen upon Lan Di's death, and he'll not fall onto the path of darkness.

Agree or disagree, but a true martial artist would follow these things.

I like Sean's idea for two different endings, so that means that Ryo's fate is determined by the hands of the player.

It would be cool if Ryo said that he would sacrifice himself to destroy the mirrors but at the last second he threw Fuku-San in the way of some killer laser beam and Lan Di pissed himself laughing then died of embarassment

no no no no nooo! it wont be good if there were 2 completley diffrent endings, it will be soo crap we wont know which ending is suppose to actually happen

...well, there are ALREADY two different endings for Shenmue I and II.

One if you made it to your goal and the other if you procrastinate too much.

It's kinda make sense if they continued it like that, where it's all determined by the hands of the player.

Besides, many people would consider the good ending to be the true one anyway and the bad one some twisted alternate reality.
