Official lists mean nothing. We're not expecting Shenmue to be out this year.

The PS3 wont be out until next year sometime so how can something post the PS3's release be anytime soon?

A bigger audience means nothing if most of that audience doesn't have the capacity to appreciate a game like Shenmue. Still, I'm not going to get into the politics of the matter. I'd just as well prefer Shenmue III to be a multi-platform release rather than exclusive to just one console.

We were told not to expect any news at TGS anyway, so there's no real reason to speculate why Shenmue III isn't being shown/announced.

The only way I would pay 500 or more for a video game console would be if Shenmue 3 was on it and only then if the game was not multi platform, Sony is nuts if they think they'll get ps 1 or ps 2 type sales at twice the price the first 2 came out at.

As to the reason many of us are hoping [not expecting] just hoping for news is because of what IGN said. "Shenmue complete {will} be announced at the show". Somebody posted a link to that statement on Lon D C's thread about what Adam had said.

I seriously doubt it has a big audience lets see it has a controller that looks like a boomerang its going to cost like $500 to $600 and did you notice the Playstation 3 title on the console it's the same exact font as the Spider-Man movies there trying to be cool but there not.

It says Sammy on the very bottom of the list yet Sammy didn't post what games its going to make hmm...

Controller, price its all unconfirmed. Why the PS3 hate?? From what I've seen so far it looks damn impressive. If I could choose one console for Shen 3 to be on, it would sure as hell be this one.
