Currently working on a photo project for people to show wide Shenmue support.

Have made preliminary contact with people at Sega.

Keep it up.

Sounds great! Keep up the good work! :D

As for myself, I've made topics in several Japanese BBS (forums) about the campaign.

The Gang Editions where it's "at".

I just watched some gang editions and there was no questions about sailors. No Sailors = Not Shenmue.

Holy shit, I get banned for 4 days and now this?!

I think a lot of you are completely and utterly stupid. This won't do shit, it's another PR attempt. Why Shenmue III? What about Duke Nuken, or other lost franchises that have a significantly larger fanbase? No, this is another Kikizo, I'm afraid, desered to ganer fanboy attention for a weak gaming TV series. Ironically enough, if this turns up no info with Sega employees even with the backing of the BBC, it'll root out the lies of Kikizo's article even further.

I like how the show's hosts have posted here, trying to garner more attention from the series's rapid loyal fanbase. I mean what, did they Google "Shenmue Fan Forums" or what? I bet a dozen of you have already talked about this on other forums, being rabid Shenmue-tools (see Kotaku), and spreading the "hype".

As for myself, I've made topics in several Japanese BBS (forums) about the campaign.

And here, we've set the hype-ball rolling.

I'm telling you, any "dialouge" from Sega they have will just be "Shenmue was a franchise we invested heavily in", and the whole thing will end on promoting Shenmue Online. You won't see anything on Shenmue III from this.

Guys, come on, I loved Shenmue I & II as much as you, but you have to ignore shit like this when it pops-up. What "answers" do you honestly think we will get? If they were working on Shenmue III, it would be annouced, and they wouldn't bother with Shenmue Online. It's simple as that. I'll only start raving when we get an official confirmation from Sega's mouth, which this show WILL NOT BRING.

Hell I've never even seen VideoGaiden on the English BBC.

Everyone has their opinion, but there is no need to shelf the hopes of others.

We as Shenmue fans are used to being let down by potential events. So if this is a let down, who cares, we've already been through enough of them.

The sad thing to do is to not at least try. If this fails, then it fails, but at least we tried. Maybe this thing will work, maybe it won't... but there's only one way to find out.

So props to all the people who are trying and aren't just giving up. Even if it does end up in vain, at least you tried.

:? Why not just make Streets Of Rage 4 (which everyone wants as well)?

And make a new NiGHTS game too whilst they are at it! :P

And Twist05 - if you have nothing nice to say, then shut the hell up!

The BBC can't and won't promote anything.

Particularly not Shenmue Online. Fuck that pish.

Sega might tell us nothing. But it'll be easier for them to tell us nothing if people have your attitude.
