That was his opinion. Of course Sega will let him make it, he just needs the license and money.

I don't blame Yu, if it wasn't for him this forum would not have even existed.

The first of everything shenmue on the internet I heard was the campaigns to aid yu in getting the shenmue license.

SEGA is willing to waste money are shitty Sonic game after Sonic game and yet they will not make Shenmue 3?

Also, I hope SNK finally makes Mark of the Wolves 2 as well.

I don't think it's one man's fault that a project of hundreds fails. But if it was sure that there would never be a third game then I'd like to have a manga. Shenmue 3 as a manga would be a "killer title" xD

As everyone else has said, Yu Suzuki is not to blame for this. Simply put, Sega seem to want to keep Shenmue on the shelf (for the time being at least).

Suzuki no longer works with Sega (as far as I recall) and unless an adequate amount of money was involved, Sega would probably just hold onto the license.

Unfortunately I don't think that there'd be enough money to be made from Segas' perspective. :sad:

I'll be 23 in 2 years, so I'd be happy with that...
